A week-long harp workshop for
high-school and college-age students.

The Festival will be held in July 13-19, 2014 at Hemlock Acres Campground in Coburn, PA, in the beautiful mountains of central Pennsylvania, 20 miles east of State College. The recreational camp atmosphere and the intense harp study combine into a great harp experience for dedicated high school and college-age students. With a focus on learning together, campers work on technique and musicianship, while they play, practice and perform solo and in ensemble.  PLUS hiking, swimming, campfires and special events. For more information, please contact us.

Our theme for 2014 is "It's Elementary!"

We will become musical detectives, and just like the great Sherlock Holmes, we will be solving a puzzle, a musical puzzle. We will discover and study the different elements of music, like melody, rhythm and harmony, and put those elements together as we create our own composition for us to play at the end of the week.

All of this plus our usual intense ensemble work, practice techniques and some good fun times too!
